Sandy I am so sorry that I can not attend Bob's service. He of all people would not care but I want you to know it is a great pleasure to call you and Bob my friends. We have had some great times especially in Ruidoso. We are like family with all that we have in common and interest. Boomer Sooner! Bob is singing the "Hill are Alive" and we will miss that bright and early in the morning. He has touched thousands of lives in his life in the many positions of coaching, teaching and leadership. GOD shared a great man with so many of us, and now has taken him HOME. This leaves not only his family, but many great friends and prior students greatly saddened. I pray that GOD will show his unending love to the family as they adjust to their husband/dad/granddad not being here with them any longer. My memories of Pioneer High School have images of Mr. Bush with a smile on his face and interest in every students success and wellbeing. He had such a huge impact on so many lives! Dear Sandy and family, May God Bless you and yours. I cannot adequately express how much sadness I feel about Bob's passing. Neither can I express how much I appreciated his wisdom and friendship as my mentor while at Drummond. Too many times to count, I called Bob when i had a question about my sanity when I became a Superintendent, and he always gave me advice that was honest, and true to the character that was his trademark. Tana and I will miss him. God Bless you Bob, you were one of the few "GOOD SCHOOL MEN"

So sorry to hear about Mr. Bush passing away. He was so influential to so many of us at Pioneer. I remember so many times he was there for us growing up. Many of my high school and even before memories include him, from the road trips he drove the cheerleaders on to games to hanging out and playing around the house at Pioneer. You all are in my prayers losing your dad/husband/granddad leaves a big hole that is hard to fill. Hang on to those memories and remember he would want the best for you all. Hugs!
