I can remember Uncle Tom coming to many of my baseball games in the summer at Phillips-Failing Park. He was always there with a kind word after the game and strong handshake even with Niles shake. It didn't matter if I gave up the winning run, struck out the final batter, or got the winning hit, he was just glad he got to watch me play. Whenever we had Niles family gatherings for birthdays, reunions, or Christmas he always seemed to be the one to give the Blessing and he made everyone feel loved. God Bless you Uncle Tom!

We were so sadened to hear about Tom's passing. We didn't have the opportunity to know him well, since we live in FL and only visit occasionally, but he was always so sweet and friendly. And I DO remember the special potatoes he made to bring to 'gatherings.' Yummo! Thanks Tom for sharing with us. I know how special you were to my Aunt Jo and the good years you shared. We know that Tom is with the Lord and appreciate the many conversations and emails that we received from him as he continued to pass his faith in the Lord on to others.
