Jane, Bryan, Matt. and Kevin, Dan was a dear friend, wonderful neighbor, great dad, loving husband, and I can only imagine how he will be missed. I never saw him when he wasn't laughing and having a great time, in spite of the many hurdles and challenges life seemed to throw at him. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan baptized me on December 4, 1980 at Cherokee Hills Christian Church in Oklahoma City. I was 8 years old and remember him so well. Dan was one who taught the love of Jesus and His light shined strongly in him.

Dan was my daughter, Jodi's, father-in-law. He was a wonderful "Pa-Pa" to my grandsons, Caleb and Trey, as well as his other two grandsons. Dan prayed for me personally on various occasions. When my mother passed away in 2008 in Tulsa, OK, Dan was there, praying for our family.

Dan was a very admirable person, and we are so blessed to have known him. My prayer is that his legacy and faith will continue on with his sons and grandsons.

Thank you, Dan (and Jane), for being examples to all of us. Your passion for the Lord, your friendly handshake and smile, will always be remembered!

Rest in peace in your Father's house.

Dear Jane and family, I know the people at Oakwood were happy to have Dan back ministering to them. I remember him for his upbeat personality and his love for Jesus. It has been many years since I have lived in Enid, but I was saddened to hear of his passing through a mutual friend. He had a great love for people.
