Matthew & his Mom(Nancy), use to watch my daughter, Aubrey Smith, for Steve & I to go out for a bike ride.

Matthew always loved to watch Aubrey, he was always asking to bring her over. He made her laugh so hard, & yes he made her cry. But it was always a short cry. I knew then he would be a great Dad some day. He would always be there if we needed him. I can see he did become a great Dad. God loves you Matthew & So do I. I will miss you but I will see you again. RIP Matthew, RIP.... Love Aunt Lisa

Matthew was my brother, uncle to my children and a friend. With Matthews passing our family is now broken. We will mend but will never be fixed. We will miss Mathew more than works could ever express. Matt, memories will be with us forever and he will never be forgotten. Love you.

Matthew was a one if a kind. He will be missed dearly. He was such a great roll model for his two girls. I wished he had more time on the earth to teach them all the good in life there is. The greatest memories that I had with my brother is living on 5 acres with nothing but woods, We rode 3 wheelers, horses and got in trpuble. ALL THE TIME. We grew up together in a family of 6, his father (Wayne), mother (Nancy and Kris), 2 sisters (Shannon and Kelly) and me. We had our good times and bad times. But most were great, Im going to miss you very much brother. I know your watching over us now and I know you you stil are here with us, Love you much. I will see you again brother and began having again.

He leaves behind 2 amazing little girls that looked up to him. He did everything for them. They were his world. Fishing, camping, mudding they loved doing everything with him. I can't believe he survived being a rodeo bull riding dare devil to become an amazing father and quit all of it to make sure he would live long enough to see them grow into beautiful women and create a life of there own. Please send prayers for those little girls and my aunt who has been on the door step of heaven for the longest time. I think this might be what makes her knock on that door and go in. She lived only for my cousin and those precious little girls. RIP Mathew. I love you.

I was staying with my Sister and Brother in law in Pinellas Park in the late 70's and Rode over to Daytona for Bike Week where I got my 1st Tatoo. When I got back Matt seen the Bandage covering it to heal. He was amazed and thought it was cool. Also he couldn't wait to tell my his Mom. (who didn't think it was so cool). Also he was helping do some work at my house and afterwards we went for a Mototrcycle ride to the Beach and on the way back he said go faster Uncle Steve so I opended it up a little and coming around a curve was a speed Trap. Needless to say I got a Ticket and a Lecture for Speeding with my Nephew on the back. He and I laughed about it...later of course. Love you Matt. Uncle Steve

Matthew is my Nephew. I'm not only very Proud to have known him but very Proud of him. He was a fine example of a Man and a Human Being. His Love for his Daughters should be Lesson for all Parents. How he taught them right from wrong shows the amount of Love and Caring his own Parents have for him. To say he Will be missed is an understatement. I love you Matthew. Your Uncle Steve

Matt I never thought Monday would be our last day together. It's only been 2 days but it feels like a month has gone by. I keep waiting for you to text or call. I swear we still hear your truck pulling into the driveway. It all feels like a bad dream I can't wake up from. Now we're preparing your eulogy and I can't see past the tears. Man I need one of your jokes right now!!! I guess I have no other choice but to wait until we meet again. Until that time, I'll be thinking of you and checking in on your girls for you.
